Revision: A vital part of the translation process
Colleagues, communications agencies and translation companies often send me texts translated by someone else to revise. Copyediting and enhancing text quality are a key part of my skill set. My workload is a fifty-fifty split between translating and revising.
I also check that terminology and style are consistent when a large document has been shared out among several translators, so as to ensure the final version is of a uniformly high standard.
Proofreading and adaptation: Quality first
Your content has been reworked in-house, and you need an outside expert to make sure the terminology is consistent and there are no style or language errors.
You need to update your documents or adapt them to a different target audience.
After carefully analyzing your requirements, I will work on your French text to ensure it is consistent throughout and tailored to your target audience.
